As a result, accountability for the leader’s growth was often lacking. To address this issue, Equal Parts created the LEaD platform for leadership development, which balances data, people, and accountability.
To expand the reach of LEaD, Equal Parts launched Aphesis, a firm dedicated to bringing effective leadership development tools to leaders everywhere. Aphesis encourages leaders to be open to learning new tools and unlearning outdated ones in order to become the best leaders they can be.
Aphesis specializes in bringing the multiple dimensions of leadership into focus. Leadership is the process of mobilizing people towards a common goal or purpose. While not inherently complicated, this process is complex and most companies only focus on one aspect of leadership while ignoring the others.
To be effective, leaders need humanity, tools, data, and structure. They need the time and space to grow and develop at their own pace (humanity), the skills and best practices for effective leadership (tools), metrics to track their progress and identify areas for growth (data), and the opportunity to put new skills into practice and develop new habits (structure).
